Reports to – IT Manager Department – IT Location – Harlow, Essex What’s this role about? As a 2nd line support engineer, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance and performance of internal IT systems. Using your analytical skills to efficiently problem solve within our fast-paced environment, you will work with your team to provide market leading user technical support. This role will involve being on-site from the Harlow office and visiting various depots if and when required. You will be supported by a wider team across including a MSP (managed service provider) and CTO. What will I get up to day to day? You will be responsible for delivering technical support services to our internal staff, while escalating issues requiring more senior resource to a suitable engineer/external parties. Your everyday focus will include: Every day is exciting, the normal daily tasks will include: Resolving user related tech issues. Ensuring there are no performance issues on the servers. Responding to internal support tickets. Ensuring documentation is kept up-to-date. Liaising with IT leaders and wider team to support projects Troubleshooting a range of technical issues experienced by our staff and clients, including the following technologies:
