The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
As our new Management Accountant, you will be the UK subject matter expert on standard costing. You will ensure that the UK business maintains up-to-date standard costs, with full reporting, analysis, and understanding of variances. You will also support the UK Controller and key stakeholders in managing operational spend and forecasting. In addition, you will assist with various ad hoc projects and tasks as required, contributing to the overall financial efficiency and strategic decision-making of the business.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Act as the subject matter expert for UK standard costing, ensuring accurate and up-to-date cost management.
- Manage monthly updates for raw material pricing and annual/exceptional updates for other cost elements.
- Conduct daily/weekly reviews of manufacturing and stock variances, identifying root causes and implementing necessary actions to maintain cost accuracy.
- Support the month-end close process and account reconciliations as needed.
- Maintain the ERP system for manufacturing orders and other transactions.
