The role:We have an excellent opportunity to join the Wellbeing team at RADA, as a Student Wellbeing Advisor. This is a permanent contract at 0.4 hours during term time.In this role, you will work face-to-face and online with RADA students providing clinical assessment, drop-ins and some ongoing, brief counselling sessions. The job involves working as part of a team within the Wellbeing Service, which is comprised of both a counselling and disability service.To be successful in this role, experience within a counselling or mental health organisation is beneficialAdditionally, you will have knowledge of a range of student wellbeing issues and have some experience of working with a diverse student population. The successful candidate will also understand legislation that is relevant to working within a Higher Education setting.You will be IT literate and able to work with online student record systems, as well as having excellent verbal and written communication skills.
