Aventis Solutions is partnering with a leading technology team to build a cutting-edge AI Innovation Team, and we are looking for an exceptional Machine Learning Engineer / MLOps Engineer / AIOps Engineer / AI Data Engineer / Data Scientist / Data Science Engineer / Software Engineer Tech Lead to be at the heart of this transformation. This is a critical role for someone who can bridge the gaps between data science, data engineering and software engineering, ensuring AI/ML models are successfully built, deployed and scaled. You will work on real-world machine learning applications, leveraging vast datasets and cutting-edge technology to create real business impact.
Key Details:
- Salary: £80,000 – £85,000 + 25% bonus + 15% pension contribution + strong benefits package
- Location: London-based HQ + flexible remote working options
- Future Growth: Opportunity to progress into a more rounded Head of AI Engineering very quickly or move into wider architecture type positions.
Key skills desired / what you will be doing:
- Develop and deploy AI/ML artificial intelligence / machine learning models for large-scale business applications.
- Build and maintain high-performance data pipelines, integrating structured and unstructured data sources.
- Take AI models from prototype to fully scalable production systems.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and real-time model monitoring.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to align AI solutions with commercial goals.
- Financial services experience is desired but not essential.
- API development (FastAPI, Flask)
Tech stack: Azure, Python, Databricks, Azure DevOps, ChatGPT, Groq, Cursor AI, JavaScript, SQL, Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Azure ML, Docker, Kubernetes and many more.
