DCS Tech are working in partnership with one of industry leading clients who are searching for a superstar to join their organisation as Database Administrator. Role overview: As DBA you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the core IT estate, it is critical for business operations that all systems and services remain reliable. You will be essential to help keep the lights on and supporting towards to the continued success of global operations.

What are we looking for? To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about all things Database administration whilst proactive in your approach to new technology and the changing tech landscape!

  • Strong experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL, MySQL
  • Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • System administration on platforms such as Linux
  • Automation using Shell Scripting
  • SQL – Query optimization and Schema design

Knowledge or experience with the following is desirable:

  • Microsoft SQL
  • MySQL
  • Postgres

  • Passionate and collaborative – enjoy working within cross-functional teams both internal/external
  • Willingness to learn and expand knowledge/experience in different areas of database administration systems.
