Associate - Real Estate Debt

This is an opportunity to join the UK real estate team of a Pan-European private debt investor where you will be an associate in their origination and underwriting team.

What they need:

• 3+ years of real estate lending experience gained at a bank and / or an alternate lender
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple work streams

A more detailed job spec:

• Lead and coordinate overall due diligence / underwriting process
• Review initial deal information and prepare the financial model in accordance with policies/hurdles to share terms with clients
• Produce key underwriting documents, in particular, detailed credit applications, with direction from Deal Originators
• Review professional reports and feedback issues, questions, comments to professional with Head of Credit
• Proactively flag issues and potential risks to the Head of Credit; offer solutions to resolve these with minimal impact to clients
• Coordinate and lead communication with clients and stakeholders
• Attend client meetings and contribute to new business development activities Input into development of changes, new ideas and innovation to the wider business
• Undertake required admin and updates on internal systems; undertake or run relevant training and development activities

Salary is up to £85,000. Bonus 30-50%.
