An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join an energetic company specialising in the field of festivals and events. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking and dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Peppermint provide high-performance festival bars and event solutions to the world’s best entertainment businesses and consumer brands. Our core business is operating festival bars, event bars, festival brand activation and conjoined retail-led F & B solutions to the UK’s best sports events, festivals and outdoor events.

The Role

You will be working closely alongside the finance team and interacting with the wider Peppermint team, including Project Managers and Procurement, on a daily basis.

Job accountabilities include:

  • Processing of purchase invoices
  • Liaising with project managers to ensure correct allocations against PO’s
  • Statement reconciliations with supplier accounts
  • Weekly payment run preparation
  • Bank statement and reconciliation to system postings
  • Staff expenses and company credit card postings, ensuring correct company process is followed
  • Raise sales invoices
  • Prepare aged creditor/debtors reporting
  • Deliver customer service, dealing with queries from suppliers and clients via email and telephone
  • Credit control and help embed a strict control process
  • Various ad-hoc projects

The business is seasonal. Summer months are incredibly busy – busiest periods between June and September. Many event sites are outdoor events and festivals across the UK.
