About the role
Our inspiring Brand & Marketing team are looking for a passionate and confident Press Officer to manage and support the efficient running of all things PR. The role will include delivering on seasonal press and influencer strategies as well as generating press coverage in key publications. The Press Officer will report directly into the Head of Marketing and work closely alongside all key departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all press release and product send outs related to the ladies, men, and accessories product categories.
- Collaborate on developing strategies for new launches & projects as well as proactively providing imagery & information when needed by press.
- Work as a team with the larger marketing and social media team.
- Collaborate on the strategy of and deliver influencer content.
- Contribute to the day-to-day running of the press office: ordering of seasonal samples, sample tracking, product send outs, events, coverage tracking, look book creation, seasonal photography, communicating key stories.
About you
Experience
- Proven fashion PR experience within a fast-paced business.
- An understanding of PR tactics.
- Graduate calibre and able to build relationships quickly.
- A team player and excellent brand ambassador.
Knowledge
- Solid press relationships.
- Event management and execution.
- Database knowledge (such as Meltwater, Gorkana, PR Shots).
- A keen understanding and interest of trends in popular culture as a whole.
- Understanding and experience of media affiliates.
- Experience of working with and managing an agency and talent agents.
- Negotiation of contracts for talent, content creators, creative and PR agencies.
