Due to company growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our client, a reputable Facilities Maintenance company. Based in the Northwest, this role involves working independently in a mobile capacity, covering various commercial properties, retail spaces, leisure complexes, schools, and more. Job details: * Attending to breakdowns and carrying out reactive and planned repairs within a variety of buildings throughout the Northwest. * Install, commission, and upgrade commercial gas systems, adhering to manufacturer specifications and relevant codes and standards. * Working on Pumps, (AHU’s) Air Handling Units and Pressurisation Units. Qualifications / Experience: * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. * COCN1, CEN1, CPA1, HTR1, CKR1, WAT1, CONLPGPD, CODC1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CDGA1. * Unvented hot water. * Excellent understanding of Commercial Heating Systems. * Experience in all aspects of commercial gas, servicing, repairs and installs. * Excellent knowledge of current gas regulations. * Knowledge of BMS Systems. * Plumbing skills. * Basic Electrical safety knowledge. * Valid UK driver’s licence (essential) * The candidate must be willing to work evenings and weekends on a call out rota (1 in 13) * What’s on offer: * Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 * Shift: Monday – Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week) * Pension scheme – 5.7% er / 3.3% ee * Holiday allowance – 31 days (inc statutory) * Provided is a Company vehicle (for work and personal use), fuel card, iPhone, tablet and full uniform * Overtime * Job security Please note: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
