We are looking for a SHE Coordinator to play a key role in upholding and championing safety standards across our operational site. Working closely with the SHEQ Manager, you’ll support the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and ensure a robust and proactive SHE culture is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out daily safety walkdowns and reviews of on-site activities
  • Act as a key point of contact for SHE event reporting, investigations, and action follow-up
  • Deliver SHE inductions and training to staff, contractors, and visitors
  • Coordinate risk assessment and method statement reviews
  • Contribute to safety communications, toolbox talks, and SHE bulletins
  • Support environmental compliance, waste management, and site recycling initiatives
  • Assist with internal audits, contractor assessments, and safety meetings
  • Play an active role in promoting site-wide safety culture and initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a SHE role, ideally within an industrial or COMAH-regulated environment
  • Working knowledge of UK SHE legislation and standards (e.g. COSHH, PUWER, LOLER, PSSR)
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or currently working towards)
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with people at all levels
  • A proactive, detail-focused individual who leads by example
