Our client is looking for a Senior Account Director to join their team on a 2-month freelance contract.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Building trusted client relationships and acting as a strategic advisor
- Leading fast-paced press office activity, campaigns, and projects end-to-end
- Overseeing project delivery—from briefing and resourcing to execution and results
- Collaborating with media, digital, influencer, and cross-agency partners
- Managing and mentoring a team of Account Managers and Execs
- Acting as a key escalation point, offering guidance and solutions
- Running regular client check-ins and status meetings
- Ensuring campaign materials align with client strategy and comms goals
- Evaluating campaign effectiveness with smart measurement and ROI reporting
- Juggling multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders with confidence
- Driving DEI values in all aspects of work
- Staying sharp on industry trends and fresh thinking
What We\’re Looking For:
- A proven Senior AD or experienced Account Director ready to step up
- Solid background in FMCG and digital PR (including SEO knowledge)
- Strong handle on the UK media landscape and influencer marketing (earned/paid/owned)
- Experience managing high-pressure press office environments
- Strategic thinker with creative flair and problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable owning client relationships and delivering standout work
- Hands-on leader who supports junior team members and leads from the front
- Commercially savvy and confident managing budgets and performance
- Collaborative, adaptable, and energised by great work and great people
Contract Information:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 2 months, with a high likelihood of being extended
- Working Pattern: Required on-site 2 days a week in London
- Day Rate: £300-£400 per day, depending on experience
