Drenagh Sawmills is a long established, family-owned business located in Limavady. The Company uses timber to produce an innovative range of bespoke products for use in the fencing, landscaping, pallet & packaging markets in the UK and Ireland. We are seeking applications for the full time, permanent post of: MANUFACTURING CLEANING TECHNICIAN / PRODUCTION OPERATOR Your duties will be split between industrial cleaning and production operations. This physically demanding role will require you to work alone, carry out deep cleans and general industrial cleaning throughout sawmill production buildings and external yard areas. You will also assist in the production of timber products and ensure that they are manufactured to the specified quality and in keeping with volume production targets. Responsibilities will include: Carry out effective and efficient industrial cleaning services Housekeeping of production work areas and Company sites general cleaning duties Fine dust cleaning using industrial vacuum Operation and set up of sawmill machinery Assisting in routine machine maintenance and record keeping Essential criteria: Able to work unsupervised Flexible, reliable, honest and trustworthy Fit and healthy Thorough in your work and take pride in what you do Able to read and follow instructions Good health and safety awareness Desirable criteria: Forklift experience Experience of working within an industrial environment Competitive wage & benefits package: £500 Sign-On Bonus (payable after 6 months employment) Attendance Reward Scheme Length of Service Reward Company pension scheme Company uniform Permanent contract, overtime available.
