General role responsibilities:
- Perform experiments, analyze and report results in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Review results accuracy to draw scientific conclusions linked to experimental goals.
- Develop skills and expertise in the Protein Function and Interaction area, with focus on product binding (e.g., ELISA, Octet and/or Biacore), metabolic changes (e.g. enzymatic assays) and characterization of Mode of Action (MoA) through cell-based assays.
- Develop analytical skills using a range of chromatography-based approaches – such as Protein-A affinity and SEC.
Activities:
- Planning experiments/work and writing electronic lab notebook (20%)
- Analytical development or sample analysis (60%)
- Lab Maintenance /Stock taking/ordering (15%)
- Administration, including time sheets/ departmental meetings etc. (5%)
Required experience: previous laboratory experience in analytical techniques with experience in at least one protein function and interaction-related techniques (i.e. Octet, Biacore, cell culture, enzymatic assays), with applications to product’s functional characterization.
