Join Our Client's Team as a Stainless Steel Fabricator
Location: Leicester
Salary: £20.13 per hour with highly competitive multiple overtime rates available daily and all day at the weekends
Shift:
- Onsite: Monday to Friday
- Offsite: 12 days on and 2 days off
Role Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, cut, shape, and assemble stainless steel components
- Work with stainless steel thicknesses from 1.6mm to 6mm
- Carry out TIG welding to a high standard
- Grind, polish, and smooth surfaces to food-grade and hygienic standards
- Interpret and work from detailed technical drawings
- Ensure all work meets precise tolerances and high-quality control standards
- Travel to client sites (fully expensed, including paid travel time)
- Maintain accurate documentation and report material defects
- Operate press brakes, guillotines, and rollers as required
- Assist in pattern development, conveyor system fabrication, and bespoke stainless steel assemblies
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in food factory environments
- 2+ years’ experience as a Stainless Steel Fabricator or similar role
- Skilled in TIG welding of stainless steel (1.6mm – 6mm)
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and assembly
- Ability to operate press brakes and read technical drawings
- Experience in pattern development and conveyor manufacturing
- NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, City & Guilds, or equivalent HNC/HND qualification
- Knowledge of site fitting and installation work is desirable
- Full UK driving license (for site visits)
