We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Domestic Assistants to join our team and work in a variety of settings, including healthcare facilities, offices, and hospitality venues across County Antrim.
As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in workplaces, healthcare environments, and other facilities. Your role will contribute to the overall well-being and safety of staff, residents, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing designated areas, including offices, healthcare facilities, kitchens, and communal spaces
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Disposing of waste and ensuring proper recycling and waste management practices
- Cleaning restrooms and replenishing supplies as needed
- Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard in line with hygiene regulations
- Using cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
- Reporting any maintenance or hygiene issues to supervisors
- Following health and safety guidelines, including infection control procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning or domestic assistant role is desirable but not essential
