My client in Failsworth, Manchester is currently in need of a Sheet Metal Worker/Welder Fabricator due to ongoing project expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components with precision to meet high-quality standards.
  • Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals as required for the job.
  • Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering schematics to complete tasks.
  • Carry out quality checks and ensure all work complies with company and client specifications.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, bend, and shape metal as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project deadlines and maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker with welding skills (both TIG and MIG).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and welding processes.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:15 PM / Friday: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Location: Failsworth

Salary: £16-£19 per hour + Overtime
