This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual, with recent experience of printing on Narrow Web Label Presses to join a well-established company in Buckinghamshire, on a temp basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of flexo print & turret rewinders.

  • Running multi-colour flexo presses
  • Producing high quality labels with a variety of finishes
  • You will be expected to carry out routine machine maintenance and keep the press at optimum condition
  • Ensuring that the area, equipment and machinery are kept clean and tidy
  • Troubleshooting issues with the printing press or print quality
  • Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environmental Policies relating to your work area are adhered to by you at all times
  • Carry out basic maintenance in accordance with standard procedures

Requirements:

  • Hold sufficient and recent flexographic printing experience
  • Have experience operating a flexo printer - Mark Andy, Nilpeter, MPS, Edale etc.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within the narrow web label sector - will also consider wide web print
  • Be aware of flexo print process
  • Previously or currently printed labels / packaging preferred
  • Hot foil and screen print experience
  • Demonstrable experience of working to high quality standards
  • Demonstrable experience of good team working & communication skills
