OUR CLIENT is a leading and successful firm of Property Advisors in Residential and Commercial property who are expanding and are now looking for a Client Accountant to join their team.

Reporting to Head of Property Accounts, THE ROLE will entail:

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of Commercial clients.
  • Preparing year-end service charge accounts.
  • Issuing Monthly and Quarterly rent & service charge demand/invoices.
  • Preparing & reconciling of client statements and VAT reports.
  • Preparing bank reconciliations for both rent & service charge accounts.
  • Liaising and dealing with surveyors, client, supplier, tenant, auditors queries.
  • Verifying property income / outgoings and dealing with service charge year-ends.
  • Preparing service charge budgets.
  • Transferring funds to clients within strict deadlines.
  • Posting items onto the Sales/Purchase ledgers.
  • Setting up Clients, Properties, Units, Leases and Tenants/Debtors.
  • Issuing monthly and quarterly rent demand/invoices.
  • Preparing Funding Requests.
  • Carrying out daily maintenance (rent increases, assignments and renewals).

THE PERSON: To apply for this role, you will have:

  • Experience of using a property management system such as Tramps/QUBE/YARDI.
  • All round experience in preparing client reports and service charge accounts.
