A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Traffic Signals Engineer to work for a reputable, expanding organisation based in the Bedfordshire area.

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire

This is a Hybrid position.

Skills required for the job:

  • Programme, design and implementation of ATS, UTMC, RTPI schemes in accordance with current professional standards.
  • Provide asset management expertise for all ITS assets including various systems FMS, RMS, TMS, WebOS, SCOOT, RTPI, etc. and implement a risk-based approach to the whole lifecycle of Traffic Signals.
  • Provide detailed advice, technical support and consult where necessary with outside bodies, including local authorities, in all aspects of traffic signals.
  • Provide expert technical advice in assessing signalisation schemes submitted by developers in relation to planning applications.
