A global manufacturing business specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of a range of static tension and/or compression testing machines, including specialist grips, fixtures and applications, is seeking a Packer / Warehouse Operator due to expansion.
As a Packer / Warehouse Operator you will:
- Undertake general stores/warehousing duties
- Assist packing for national/international freight
- Assist with collection and delivery of goods off-site driving transit van (once or twice a week)
- Assist with goods inwards, booking in and processing stock shortage tickets
- Assist with dealing with third party contractors
- Use of computerised stock management system
We are looking for a Packer / Warehouse Operator who has the following skills and experience:
- Competent Person
- DVLC preferred
- Driver (Over 25)
- Experience of working in a shop floor environment
- Good communication and numeric skills
- Competent and reliable
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Forklift experience would be preferred but training can be given
You will be working 08.00 – 16.30, Monday to Friday. In return you will receive a salary of £25,500 per annum.
