Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a very well-established business who are based in Portsmouth. Due to growth plans for 2021 our client is now looking to recruit an Account Manager / Sales Support to join the business.
As an Account Manager, Sales Support Executive you will be responsible for building and maintaining new and old tender opportunities. Supporting the Senior team with tender opportunities for them to contact, quote and close.
As an Account Manager, Sales Support Executive you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Be the first point of call for customers via email and on the telephone
- Gain repeat business by calling through to old customers to establish what may have changed and rectify this
- Manage key client accounts and driving sales growth
- Support customers with their billing and account queries. Making any changes to their accounts
- Take ownership of sales targets and identifying sales opportunities
- Using the CRM to keep a log of all activity, and chase and follow up on tender opportunities
- Sell to existing customers to grow revenue
- Liaise with Quality Assurance to ensure sales verification is compliant
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
The ideal Account Manager / Sales Support will have/be:
- Will have had experience in a sales or account management role
- Able to manage and prioritise time and workloads
- Must drive
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to develop good sales and account management skills
- Take ownership of issues and resolve them efficiently
- Ability to self-motivate
- Proven record of delivering against targets
- Competent in using email, phone, and LinkedIn
