General Purpose of the Role
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of digital marketing strategies across a range of channels. This includes overseeing paid media, SEO, content strategy, lead generation campaigns, and social media. You will work hands-on, closely with internal teams and manage external marketing agencies to ensure the delivery of measurable business outcomes. You’ll also leverage AI marketing tools to drive personalisation, automation, and campaign efficiency.
Key Responsibilities and Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with company goals.
- Manage multi-channel campaigns across SEO, PPC (Google Ads, LinkedIn), display advertising, and paid social.
- Use AI-driven marketing tools for content generation, audience targeting, email workflows, and campaign optimisation.
- Oversee the management, performance, and ROI of external marketing agencies and freelancers.
- Lead website optimisation efforts, focusing on UX, content, and conversion rate improvement.
- Develop and implement automated email marketing and lead nurturing campaigns.
- Collaborate with content creators and designers to ensure consistent messaging and branding across platforms.
- Analyse campaign performance via tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and SEMrush, and create regular reports to guide future strategy.
- Stay up to date with emerging digital tools and trends to continuously innovate and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Attend vendor meetings, events, and trade shows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of digital marketing experience, ideally in a B2B technology or IT-focused environment.
- Proven ability to manage and get results from external marketing agencies and service providers.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and SEO/SEM tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
- Proficiency in using AI marketing platforms or tools (e.g., Jasper, ChatGPT, HubSpot AI, Surfer, or similar) to streamline campaigns and content creation.
- Strong command of Google Analytics, HubSpot, Zoho (or equivalent CRM/marketing automation software).
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with a track record of optimising digital campaigns.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
