This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work with a great company within the world of orthopaedic implants. The company has products that focus on distal extremities, and you’ll be fully trained in all procedures. This role can rapidly progress towards a role as Sales Associate, then Territory Manager, which are both personally and financially rewarding paths.

Territory: Yorkshire & Northeast

The Role:

  • You will be supporting sales activity across the Yorkshire and Northeast area with a big focus on the main Yorkshire areas.
  • In this role, you'll be providing clinical support in pre-sales evaluations, post-sales implementations, and covering more complex cases.
  • Working closely with the territory salesperson and the Regional Manager, you’ll provide training to theatre-based staff in both the NHS and private sector.
  • Engaging with key accounts in the area, you’ll develop relationships across the client portfolio that will be beneficial for your long-term career.
  • Acting as the extended eyes and ears of the company and sales team, you’ll provide any referrals or key information to your colleagues within the business; product feedback, user experiences, competitor insights, or sales leads.
  • Working collaboratively with your colleagues and manager, your role is critical in assisting with the continued growth of the territory.
  • Based from home, you will travel to hospitals across the territory but from time to time you will also assist with some exhibitions or key events in other areas of the country.
  • You will become a product expert, a trusted advisor to the surgeons across your geographical territory.
  • This role does not have a sales target!

Package:

  • £35-£40k basic (DOE)
  • £10k bonus (paid quarterly)
  • Company car (fully expensed hybrid)
  • Pension, private healthcare, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, etc.

The ideal person:

  • The ideal person is either a Physician Associate, ODP, Physio, Scrub, or Osteopath who wants to transition to a commercial role in the medical sector, within the surgical setting.
  • You could also be currently working as a Clinical Specialist in the medical devices sector, with any surgical-based product.
  • You need a strong knowledge around MSK / Anatomy & Physiology – this is essential.
  • Ideally, you’ll have some knowledge around orthopaedic surgical procedures, but it’s not essential for the right person from a physio/osteo background.
  • Previous customer-facing work experience is highly desirable, which includes part-time roles during education or bits after university and before your current role (those part-time retail, hospitality, customer service roles actually mean a lot more to clients than some people think!).
  • You must live in the Leeds, Sheffield, Huddersfield, Harrogate, York kind of area, or very close to it (or be willing to relocate at your own expense).
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Right to work in the UK is vital and no sponsorship is available.
