Job Purpose: We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Support Coordinator to join our Plug Me In – Solar team on a permanent basis. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to support the successful delivery of solar installation projects by providing essential administrative and coordination support to the project management team. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate project documentation, tracking progress, coordinating engineer schedules, liaising with customers, and assisting with financial and process reporting. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update project plans, Gantt charts, and weekly trackers.
- Produce weekly client update reports and visual progress summaries.
- Assist with process mapping and the creation of RAMS documentation.
- Update project data within CRM platforms (Salesforce/Microsoft Dynamics).
- Manage engineer diaries and book customer surveys.
- Liaise with customers post-sales handover to provide updates and timelines.
- Support the DNO application process where required.
- Update revenue recognition reports and maintain cost tracking sheets.
- Assist with budget tracking and financial performance reporting.
- Log and track project risks and issues.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Provide administrative support to the wider project team.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support smooth project execution.
About You:
- Essential: Experience in project support or administration, ideally in a technical or engineering environment.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and key deliverables.
- Desirable: Degree in business, management, engineering, or related field.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM).
- Experience in solar, engineering, or construction sectors.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and cost tracking.
