About the Role: We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering beer kegs and bottles to various locations, including pubs, bars, restaurants, and other venues across Hampshire. If you are passionate about driving, enjoy providing excellent service, and are comfortable handling heavy loads, this could be the perfect job for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient delivery of kegs and bottles to customers.
- Ensure timely deliveries while following scheduled routes.
- Load and unload kegs and bottles, maintaining proper stock levels in the vehicle.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
- Complete delivery paperwork, including logs and proof of delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a professional and friendly attitude.
- Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience in HGV driving, preferably in a similar delivery role.
- Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy kegs and bottles.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good knowledge of the local area and routes.
- A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude.
