Responsibilities Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring all stations are properly organised and prepared for service.
Supervising and training junior chefs, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
Ensuring food safety standards are always adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques.
Monitoring inventory levels and managing food costs to meet financial targets.
Supporting the Head Chef in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and responding to guest feedback.
Creating a culture of support and actively encouraging teamwork.
Willingness to challenge if standards aren\’t meeting required levels.
A chef with a passion for great food and service.
Qualifications & Skills Understands the importance of working with a branded menu.
Experience managing orders, food stocks and forecasting against occupancy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
Good financial knowledge with the ability to manage costs in line with the department\’s budget.
