Stafforce are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Radiographer for a permanent position for one of our clients who are a leading engineering company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the evaluation of prospective projects during the quotation phase to determine technical feasibility and resource requirements.
- Develop, validate, and implement NDT procedures in accordance with industry standards and specific project needs.
- Ensure timely and accurate radiographic inspection of production welds, confirming compliance with the company and customer acceptance criteria.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of formal radiographic weld reports.
- Guarantee proper execution of NDT techniques across all projects to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Train and mentor Level 2 Liquid Penetrant Technicians, offering expertise in advanced NDT methods and promoting best safety practices.
- Work closely with Business Units, as well as Technical and Quality teams, to address and resolve material integrity issues.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
- Participate in internal and external audits and inspections to ensure ongoing adherence to approved NDT practices.
- Stay current with developments in NDT technology and methodologies to enhance team capabilities and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- PCN Level III certification in Radiography (Weldments only).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Level II Radiographer, with demonstrated expertise in a variety of NDT methods.
