Health and Safety Consultant

Hobson Prior is seeking a Health and Safety Consultant to join our pharmaceutical client in South West England. This will be a 3-6-month contract working at their site 5 days a week.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out corrective actions from plans across manual handling, waste management etc
• Lead and develop safety programs to protect employees and meet legal requirements.
• Work with teams to improve safety culture and reduce workplace hazards.
• Advise on safety regulations and best practices.
• Mentor and support the development of the safety team.
• Monitor safety performance and report on key metrics.
• Ensure proper waste management and compliance with environmental standards.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Previous experience of Health and safety within a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Manual Handling, COSHH, Waste Management etc
• Ideally previous experience of mentoring/managing Health and Safety professionals
• NEBOSH/IOSH
• Right to work within England
