Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Paraplanner to join a dynamic and forward-thinking financial planning firm renowned for its innovative approach and successful growth strategy. This role is based in Tyne and Wear with hybrid working available.
Job Purpose: To provide high quality paraplanning support to a UK wide team of Financial Advisers while supporting and mentoring less experienced Paraplanners who work alongside you. You will play a crucial role in formulating financial plans and strategies, as well as producing high-quality reports.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting technical research and analysis to support Financial Advisers in meeting client needs and objectives.
- Preparing detailed cashflow modelling reports to assist clients with their retirement planning.
- Drafting suitability letters across a broad spectrum of advice types, financial products, investments, and pension solutions, ensuring timely issuance.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of technical research, report writing processes, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency within the technical team.
- Supporting the head of department with training, coaching, and mentoring of Paraplanners, including induction, ongoing training and support.
Requirements:
- Experience within the financial services industry, preferably in an Independent Financial Adviser environment, with a background as a Paraplanner.
- Leadership experience welcomed but not essential.
- Strong technical product knowledge in pensions and investments, coupled with robust interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Qualified to Level 4 Diploma status.
