About Our Client:

Our client is a non-profit organisation seeking an efficient and motivated Administrator to provide essential support to the General Secretary and Executive Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the General Secretary and Executive Director.
  • Manage diaries, prioritising emails and ensuring timely responses.
  • Prepare correspondence and committee reports in consultation with leadership.
  • Ensure the General Secretary is adequately briefed for meetings.
  • Welcome visitors with a professional demeanour, creating a positive first impression.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, and catering as needed.
  • Organise and maintain effective administrative systems.
  • Attend and minute meetings, which may require occasional overnight travel.
  • Cover Reception duties in the absence of the receptionist.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience within administration managing diaries and supporting leadership teams.
  • High level of education - Degree level 2.1 or above.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office, especially MS Word and Excel.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for a busy office environment.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible and collaborative team player.
  • Comfortable with and sensitive to working in a religious organisation.
