Contract Role: SPM Business Analyst
Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid – Onsite/Remote)
Day Rate: Up to £800 (Inside IR35)
️ Contract Length: 12 Months (Potentially Extendable)
We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a major UK government programme on a 12-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who’s delivered complex change using IBM Curam Social Program Management (SPM) or PIPCS, and knows the ins and outs of UK Benefits systems like Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
The Role:
You’ll play a key part in the full change lifecycle – from gathering and documenting requirements to working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with business goals.
✅ What you’ll bring:
10+ years of BA experience on UK government IT projects
5+ years working directly with IBM Curam SPM software
Strong knowledge of UK Benefits systems (especially PIP)
Proven skills in requirements gathering, business rules definition, and business process documentation
Experience writing Use Stories and clear, structured documentation
Excellent verbal and written English
Essential:
Hands-on experience with IBM Curam SPM or PIPCS – this is a must-have
