MSP Operations Consultant The Role This position will have overall responsibility to ensure effective design and efficient execution of a variety of operations projects predominately related to the Managed Service Provider, Vendor Management System and Recruitment Process Outsourcing. Scope will include contingent worker for both regional and global clients with multiple sub-components and/or sites and significant potential complexities and risks. This individual will typically lead or support implementation work streams including supplier on-boarding, change management, program design, program team hiring, program operations documentation, job catalog and rate card establishment as well as post launch projects and initiatives. As a tenured operations team member, this position completes highly complex and analytical functions in order to drive recommendations and improvements. This position will interface with all areas affected including clients, internal sponsors, end users and suppliers. Duties and Responsibilities Refining and developing business/operational processes considering best practice, in support of operational excellence and success Support supplier on-boarding, working closely with the Global Supplier Relations team Take ownership of the change leadership plan, coordinating and leading the delivery of program communications and training sessions for suppliers and client users as required Support operations with the transition from implementation to stabilization post launch Updating project documentation including process flows and descriptions Troubleshooting new opportunities or resolving escalated program operation issues Manage or support ongoing BAU Operational projects, initiatives and changes May be responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to customer engagements Operational leadership for new implementations, products and processes, including operational set-up standards for any expansions Consultation internally and externally on best practices Working with clients to understand process, systems, and structure Summarize and present findings and recommendations on all elements related to a particular engagement including successfully delivering engagement requirements on-time and to a high professional standard Qualifications and Experience 3+ years of operational, management or consulting experience, ideally within a MSP environment Good understanding of vendor management software, including SAP Fieldglass Ability to develop knowledge base quickly during an implementation or project Proficient in developing strong professional, high level relationships with internal and external customers Exceptional ability to communicate (orally, written and listening) up to senior level internal and external customer contacts. Able to conduct, develop, and deliver presentations to senior-level contacts Ability to understand customer needs and implement solutions to meet their needs Proficient and proven negotiation skills Able to apply root cause analysis principles when solving issues or challenges Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous or matrix environment Strong customer focus and team orientation Advanced MS Office including a proficiency in PowerPoint, Visio and Excel Bachelor degree in a technical or business related field, or equivalent work experience Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally
