My client is looking for a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to join their growing marketing and business development team. In this pivotal role, you’ll partner closely with stakeholders across marketing, sales and business development, providing strategic guidance underpinned by robust data engineering and analytics. Your work will play a central role in enhancing their market competitiveness, optimising marketing performance, and unlocking new opportunities for growth.
About the Role

You will design and implement advanced data collection strategies and build analytics models that help measure campaign effectiveness, segment clients, forecast trends, and benchmark against key competitors.
Key to your success will be your ability to provide actionable insight. From monitoring ROI and pipeline attribution to developing advanced visualisations and dashboards, your analysis will directly influence marketing and BD decisions at the highest level, as well as the firm’s Partners.
Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean and integrate large, complex data sets from CRM, marketing automation, digital platforms and other internal sources.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats across the legal and professional services sector.
- Work closely with sales, marketing and client development teams to evaluate performance, define KPIs and inform decision-making.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations that bring data to life and drive stakeholder engagement.
- Present strategic insights to senior leadership in a clear, commercial, and actionable format.
- Continuously improve data capabilities by recommending new tools, technologies and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
Who Are You?
My client is seeking a commercially astute, detail-oriented analyst with a proven ability to transform complex data into meaningful business insights. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Experience in a senior data analytics role within a law firm, consultancy, or professional services environment.
- Expertise in advanced data engineering and analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar.
- Strong understanding of marketing data, including digital channels, CRM systems (e.g., InterAction, Salesforce), and campaign performance metrics.
- Proven ability to conduct competitor intelligence, market segmentation, and predictive analytics.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- A strategic mindset with a commercial focus and collaborative approach.
Qualifications
Degree / Master’s degree in Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Intelligence, or a related field is preferred.
What’s on offer?
Competitive salary up to £90,000, depending on experience. Flexible remote working, with occasional in-person meetings (UK-based candidates only). Opportunity to work with a high-performing, forward-thinking international team at the heart of commercial growth.
