Customer Service Advisor Duration : 12 months Rate : £12.50 per hour Location : Stoke-on-Trent Hours : 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday + potential overtime Role Overview We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our team and efficiently manage customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent service. Key Responsibilities : Handle customer requests in a local branch, including new accounts, pricing, orders, and queries. Process manual and credit notes, following established procedures. Take payments from customers and reconcile banking for gas and equipment. Calculate commission payments to agents and manage cylinder holdings. Generate Proforma invoices using templates as needed. Provide rapid resolutions and escalate issues when necessary. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and systems. Identify sales opportunities and refer them to the sales team. Build long-term relationships with customers and agents to understand their needs. Offer proactive service and outbound contact to select customers.
