A healthcare organisation is seeking a Marketing Director to drive the B2B marketing strategy for its portfolio of consumer medical devices in the UK & Ireland. This role will focus on building partnerships, generating leads, and expanding the market presence of their range of health-tech related devices. Key target audiences include the NHS, private medical practices, big national retail brands and independent specialist providers.
These are consumer health-tech devices, tailored for each individual’s needs utilising highly advanced technology which is recognised as far in advance of their competition. The company currently holds the market lead spot for supply to the NHS, as well as having competitors sell on their behalf.
With this hire, they’re looking for a Marketing Director who can establish a long-term marketing vision as the company looks to further cement their market position, ensuring their marketing engine is future facing and driving the right outputs to maintain their market lead position. Your role will include looking at their marketing strategy and ensuring they’re investing in the right channels, media, personnel and capabilities to maintain their growth trajectory.
This will include evolving certain channels like digital, introducing Account-Based Marketing (ABM), and setting KPIs around it. You will also focus on improving brand positioning and metrics, while keeping an eye on marketing efficiency and funnel conversion metrics.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead B2B Marketing Strategy: Define and implement a B2B marketing roadmap to grow market share for consumer medical devices across healthcare providers, retailers, and distributors.
- Lead Generation and Demand Creation: Execute strategic marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads and expand product reach.
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Engage key business customers using ABM strategies, targeting retailers, distributors, and healthcare providers.
- Brand Positioning and Market Penetration: Position the company as a trusted partner in the consumer medical device space, fostering ongoing relationships with healthcare providers and retailers.
- Team Leadership and Development: Manage and mentor a team of 9 marketing professionals, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use market research and analytics to optimise campaigns, refine messaging, and enhance lead generation.
- Partnership and Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and industry influencers, to drive brand advocacy.
- Experience in B2B marketing within consumer medical devices, MedTech, or healthcare.
- Proven success in B2B marketing strategies for healthcare providers/NHS, retailers, and distributors.
- Experience with products like hearing aids, prescription eyewear, diagnostic devices, mobility aids, sleep and respiratory devices, and personal health technology.
- Experience in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and lead generation for B2B audiences.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams of 5+ marketing professionals.
- Expertise in digital marketing, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot), and analytics tools.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- A data-driven approach to decision-making and adapting strategies to meet business goals.
- Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 (DOE) + benefits
- Location: Hybrid role – 40% office-based in Hamilton
- Travel: Occasional national and international travel required.
