We are currently seeking a skilled and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a nurturing learning environment and make a real difference in pupils' educational journeys.
We are looking for a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant who is Level 3 qualified, ready to support children's learning across the Primary age range. In this role, you'll be working closely with class teachers to provide high-quality classroom support, contribute to planning and delivery of activities, and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment. This position is full-time and could become permanent for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:- Support pupils individually or in small groups to help them access the curriculum and achieve their potential
- Assist the teacher in planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a calm, safe learning environment
- Support pupils with additional needs, using tailored strategies to remove learning barriers
- Contribute to observations, assessments, and planning in collaboration with the class teacher
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or equivalent) - this is essential
- At least 6 months of experience in a Primary School setting
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND
- Experience working across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Training in behaviour management or other relevant CPD
- Flexibility and initiative in the classroom
