Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with a fast growing retailer opening new stores across the UK. We are seeking two driven and passionate Warehouse Front Line Managers to lead a large team within the distribution centre working on a night shift. The shift pattern is 22:40 - 09:00, 4 on 4 off. This favourable shift pattern means you will only work 180 days over the year.

The ideal candidate will be a natural leader, self-motivated and hands-on with previous exposure to working within a fast-paced distribution or warehouse environment.

The role:
  • Leadership and role modelling for circa 50 staff members
  • Covering inbound receiving, stock put-away, picking and despatch
  • Drives process change and improvements whilst maintaining Health & Safety as a priority and developing standard operational processes ensuring accuracy of stock is optimised
  • Achieve and exceed operational KPIs and work with other departments on any deviations and corrective action plans
  • Driving operational efficiency across multiple disciplines and time frames ensuring resources coordinated in line with changing demands and deadlines
  • Championing engagement initiatives with up to date KPI monitoring
  • Develop and drive process improvements within start-up environment
The candidate will have/be:
  • Currently in a Warehouse Front Line Manager or Supervisor role, ideally within general merchandising or related field
  • Be able to work on a night shift pattern 4 on 4 off
  • Notable experience of managing in a warehouse environment
  • Warehouse systems with Red Prairie knowledge an advantage
  • Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint as you will be refining procedures and policies in the start-up period
