We have an exciting new opportunity with one of our wonderful clients who is looking for a Contract Manager/Senior Paralegal to join their Cambridge team. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has a commercial mindset and is driven and strategic in the workplace. Additionally, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex jargon.
  • A proactive and independent work ethic.
  • Confidence in their skills and abilities.
  • Confidence reviewing and using contract templates.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general commercial contracts support - drafting/reviewing/negotiation, escalating to a senior member of the team where necessary.
  • General commercial paralegal duties.
  • Managing standard supplier and customer T&Cs.
  • Helping with enterprise commercial contracts.
  • Adding new statements of work to longstanding T&Cs.
  • First-level review of a set of templates which they can use, helping with a lot of contract processes.
  • Liaising with opposing counsel and confident dealing with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Handling MSAs, Confidential Disclosure Agreements, lots of schedules of work, purchase orders and MTAs.
  • Managing the inbox on a day-to-day basis.

Key details:

  • Salary: Competitive salary, dependent on experience. (Paralegal min. £17/hr).
  • Location: Hybrid, two to three days per week at the office based in South Cambridge.
  • Days: 5 days a week, full-time hours.
