Augusta provides capital raising, M&A advice and a growing asset management business helping clients invest in special investment situations in European renewables. The company is focused on the full suite of renewable energy and energy transition technologies including wind, solar, hydro, storage, efficiency technologies, transition infrastructure, and hydrogen.
Augusta is growing fast and is looking to add multiple interns to the team in the coming months. Typical candidates will demonstrate the following credentials:
- Education: top results from a leading university
- Sector interest: a passion to work in investment banking with a strong understanding of the renewable energy sector
- Relevant professional experience: previous work experience in relevant sectors (investment banking, consulting, renewable energy firms or other transaction services) but other suitable experience is welcomed
- Experience: 0-1 years of relevant internship experience in investment banking, consulting or the energy sector
- Motivated: ability to work under pressure in a collaborative environment
- Maturity: ability to deal with senior industry counterparties
- Enterprising: high level of initiative
- Skills: excellent analytical skills with demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Languages: fluency in English and ideally another European language
Your role and responsibilities will consist of:
- Performing in-depth company/sector analysis and financial modelling for both pitches and live mandates, as well as translating financial analysis into concise client recommendations
- Drafting deal marketing documents as well as internal investment presentations and other client documentation where required
- Assisting in the co-ordination of due diligence activities. You will be hands-on across the entire execution process including co-ordinating workstreams with other advisers
- Firm-wide marketing activities including drafting pitches and building and strengthening relationships with new and existing clients
