A London-based Japanese company dedicated to promoting Japanese values in the UK is seeking a Promotion & Market Research Assistant. You will support a variety of tasks from facilitating business meetings with local companies, conducting research for promotional activities, and preparing materials to help Japanese products and services gain deeper recognition in the UK market.

Promotion Assistant Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute strategic and hands-on market research to explore and expand business opportunities in the UK market
- Take ownership of the research process from planning to managing contracts and liaising with external research firms using existing data sources
- Support the planning and organization of promotional events and help communicate brand value
- Coordinate with and report to the Tokyo head office
Promotion Assistant Ideal Candidate:
- Understands both Japanese and British business cultures, with a balance of global perspective and local awareness
- Self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to grow with the team while delivering results
- Native level of English and business level of Japanese
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
