Our client specialise in fast, reliable parcel delivery services across Hampshire. The Role:
As a Courier Van Driver, you'll be responsible for making multiple deliveries per day, ensuring that each parcel reaches its destination on time and in perfect condition. You'll be expected to complete between 100 and 150 drops per day, working in a timely and organised manner. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering parcels to residential and commercial addresses within your designated route
- Ensuring that all parcels are delivered accurately and in a timely manner
- Planning your route efficiently to meet daily delivery targets
- Maintaining excellent customer service during drop-offs and pickups
- Performing basic vehicle checks (e.g., fuel, tires, cleanliness)
- Handling and managing paperwork, including delivery confirmations and any necessary documentation
- Always adhering to company policies and road safety regulations
Requirements:
- Full, clean UK driving license (or relevant driving license in your region)
- Previous experience as a courier or in a delivery driver role preferred
- Ability to manage high-volume deliveries
- Good geographical knowledge of the area and the ability to navigate using a sat-nav or route planning system
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
