The Company: The ER Recruitment team are working exclusively with our client, an award-winning organisation who are going from strength to strength and winning many awards along the way! They are seeking a successful Service Engineer to install UPVC Windows within the newbuild market, not replacement. The successful candidate will have experience working on homeowner sites, so know the importance of organisation, timeliness and tidiness.
Role & Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:
- Fully experienced in all aspects, relating to the installation and commissioning of UPVC Windows/ French Doors/Composite doors within the “new-build” market, not replacement.
- Experience desirable, relating to the installation and commissioning of Aluminium commercial doors and windows, some experience in curtain wall, but not essential.
- Familiarity with all Eurocell profile products, also desirable, but not essential.
- As this role involves mainly working in customers properties, must have experience of working with homeowners and their expectations of this, whilst working within their property, so tidiness, and organisational skills are essential.
About You as the Field Service Engineer:
- A person who has worked installing UPVC windows on newbuild sites, also installing aluminium commercial doors entrance doors to apartments /flats etc also.
- Must have a positive “can do” and “will do” attitude and willing to go that extra bit to ensure the customer is happy and the job is resolved and completed to the satisfaction of the customer on sign off.
- As the client operate a “site audit pro” reporting software system (APP based) for sign off, familiarity with this or similar systems, would also be advantageous.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills as well as decisive judgment and evaluation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Great knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- Highly motivated, with great attention to detail.
- Calm and level-head.
