My client is a leading design and build contractor seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the construction projects at a major hyperscale Data Centre project in Acton. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate project activities from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving any issues or risks.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage project resources, including personnel and equipment.
- Implement and maintain project management processes and procedures.
- Identify and implement opportunities for project improvement, visual management, and efficiency enhancement.
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate.
- Oversee and manage the implementation of lean principles and practices within the project.
- Coordinate high-risk activities to ensure program success.
- Coordinate with clients and construction partners.
- Build and maintain relationships to drive operational success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the built environment and experience in civils.
- Experience overseeing and managing the implementation of lean principles.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in project management is desirable.
