What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Managing Associate, you’ll play a key leadership role in the team, including business development, mentoring junior lawyers, and acting as a strategic adviser to clients.
Key areas of work include:
- Merger control and foreign direct investment (especially the National Security and Investment Act)
- Cartel and abuse of dominance investigations
- Competition compliance and dawn raid advice
- Market studies and investigations
- State aid and subsidy control (including the EU Foreign Subsidy Regulation)
- Consumer protection cases (especially involving the CMA)
- Funded claims and opt-out group actions in the CAT
- Pre-action advice and commercial litigation in the High Court

What We’re Looking For:
- UK qualified solicitor with 6+ years PQE in competition law
- Broad experience across both advisory and contentious matters
- Experience acting in CMA or EC investigations and litigation before the CAT or High Court
- Excellent commercial judgment and client handling skills
- An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to contribute to practice growth
- Experience of opt-out group actions and funded claims highly desirable
