We are working exclusively with a national company with a network of branches throughout England, working at the forefront of sustainable timber construction. This is a client we have been working with for some time and have successfully introduced several key personnel throughout their network, and they are seeking to add another roof truss designer to their team.
As a Roof Truss Designer you will:
- Review plans and technical drawings ensuring they conform to the required quality standards and are commercially viable.
- Liaise with customers taking their enquiries throughout the design process.
- Work with some of the major housebuilders in the UK.
- Provide accurate, itemised quotations tailored to the customer's specific requirements.
What we are looking for:
- Truss design experience for 2 years or more.
- Proficiency in using MiTek Pamir and MBA.
- The ability to create 'manufacture friendly' designs whilst still having an awareness of the best commercial approach.
- Good time management techniques.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide mentoring to junior staff where required.
- Determined to learn and progress your career.
