We are one of ten Local Authorities selected to take part in a national 6-month Home Office pilot. This project will test the viability of multi-agency oversight for referrals that do not meet the Prevent threshold but still present a risk of serious violence or show a concerning interest in mass violence.
We are seeking an experienced and confident professional to lead on the delivery of this project.
Key responsibilities:- Lead the coordination and delivery of the pilot within the local area
- Develop and maintain strong multi-agency partnerships
- Oversee referrals and assess risk in relation to serious violence and extremism
- Provide professional insight and guidance in multi-agency settings
- Monitor, report and contribute to national learning from the pilot
- Significant experience in managing serious violence, Prevent, and safeguarding concerns
- Proven ability to lead and influence in a multi-agency environment
- Strong knowledge of current legislation and policy in relation to Prevent and public protection
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
