Macildowie Finance are currently working with a c40m turnover business based in Leamington Spa, to recruit a Finance Manager. The business has very ambitious growth plans and is a major player in their respective industry. They have an excellent reputation for customer service and staff retention and are looking for an individual to grow and develop with the business over a significant period of time.
You will be reporting in to the Group Financial Controller and be exposed to all areas of this dynamic and exciting business, providing high quality, timely and accurate management reporting and information, driving profitability and supporting key decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leadership, coaching and development of the Finance Team.
- Responsible for the production and oversight of the month end management accounts - ensuring they are provided to the business/directors in a timely and accurate manner.
- VAT Submissions
- Oversight of the Payroll process
- Business planning/scenario modelling assisting operations in their strategic decision making process.
- Cost analysis and reporting - highlighting opportunities to improve business performance through efficiency gains.
- Preparation and presentation of key performance statistics to senior level operational stakeholders.
- Project work including continuous improvement activity related to systems, processes and controls.
To be considered for this role you must be:
- Minimum ACCA/CIMA/ACA Part Qualified (must be actively studying towards completion) or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- An experienced Excel User (Pivots, Look Ups, Ifs are a must)
- A confident communicator with experience of supporting senior stakeholders
- Previous people management experience is desirable
