Setting: Supported Living – Adults with Learning Disabilities

Are you an experienced Support Worker passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? We’re recruiting for day and night support staff to join a caring and professional team at a supported living service in Walton-on-Thames, working with adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

About the Role: You’ll be supporting individuals with their daily routines, personal care, and independent living skills while promoting dignity, respect, and choice. The role involves working as part of a team in a warm and person-centred environment, enabling residents to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred care and emotional support
  • Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and activities
  • Support residents with personal care, where required
  • Help individuals access the community and pursue their interests
  • Ensure safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding practices are maintained
  • Accurately document care and progress reports

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar role
  • A calm, caring and resilient nature
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights
  • Up-to-date Mandatory Training (or willingness to complete)
  • A genuine interest in supporting individuals with learning disabilities
