A Supply Teacher is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London. This Supply Teacher role can be part or full time. If appointed as a Supply Teacher you will be required to cover a range of lessons for different year groups, whilst also upholding the school's ethos.

General duties for this Supply Teacher post will include but not limited to:

  • Setting up lessons
  • Engaging with all pupils in an enthusiastic manner
  • Providing handovers to other members of staff

Effective behaviour management, strong organisational skills and positive teamwork ethic will all be highly desirable qualities for this Supply Teacher position. The rates of pay for this Supply Teacher role will be between £140 and £200 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

The School is an 'Outstanding' Mixed Academy School & Sixth Form for pupils aged 11 to 19 years old, located in the London Borough of Wandsworth. A heavily subscribed school with a percentage of pupils applying to Russell Group universities. Providing a balanced and broad curriculum, the school focuses on subjects that contribute to the PE Baccalaureate. The proportion of pupils achieving this at the end of Year 11 is well above the national average. Extra-curricular activities also play a large part of the school's life, including music and sports events, as well as museum trips. In terms of academic achievements, the school produces results that placed it within the top 1% nationally for the fifth year running.

Requirements: You are welcome to apply if you're an ECT Supply Teacher or are an experienced Supply Teacher. Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Supply Teacher or overseas trained Supply Teacher.   • Right to work in the UK
  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • Experience as a Supply Teacher in UK schools
