As Electrical Project Engineer, you’ll lead all technical and delivery aspects of the electrical systems package on a hyperscale data centre build in Frankfurt. From managing BIM outputs to QA, procurement, subcontractor oversight and snagging closeouts, you’ll ensure the project is delivered to spec, on time, and safely. You’ll report directly to the Project Manager and play a key part in coordinating with client teams, consultants, and suppliers - while also mentoring junior engineers and supporting wider project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination and delivery of the electrical package on-site.
  • Liaise with client-side teams, consultants, BIM personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage installation drawings, RFIs, technical queries, and specification compliance.
  • Ensure QA, health and safety standards, and site protocols are followed.
  • Oversee procurement, deliveries, goods receipting, and plant/equipment planning.
  • Manage subcontractor activities, programme tracking, and labour allocation.
  • Deliver internal and external progress reports, including cost and risk updates.
  • Support the BIM and modularisation strategy including construction validation.
  • Manage project documentation including snagging, O&M manuals, QA files, and safety files.
  • Contribute to the training and development of junior engineers on site.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years’ experience with a recognised mechanical or electrical contractor.
  • Proven experience managing electrical packages on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience with BIM, QA, and health and safety protocols.
